About Senior Truth Talks

I started the Senior Truth Talks seminar series to offer trusted, no-pressure guidance for older adults navigating major life transitions. Many of the people I’ve worked with—retirees and families helping loved ones move, downsize, or sell a home—often struggled to find relevant information and dependable local resources. After helping over 6,000 families locally through my work with BlueSky Estate Services, I saw a real need for clear, practical support. These seminars were created to connect the 55+ community in Orange County with helpful information and guidance. My goal is to help seniors make informed, confident decisions as they face life’s ever-evolving challenges.

Q: How long is the seminar?

Each seminar is approximately 60 minutes long, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. We begin promptly at 10:00 AM and finish no later than 11:30 AM.

Can attendees ask questions during the seminar?

Absolutely! We encourage questions. Many will be answered naturally during the panel discussion, as we strive to anticipate common concerns. If you still have questions afterward, we welcome you to ask them during the Q&A. For more personal or specific concerns, we invite you to schedule a private consultation with a team member after the event.

Is there going to be a sales pitch?

No. These seminars are strictly educational. While you’ll get to know the hosts, panelists, and speakers, there are no sales pitches. If you’re interested in learning more about a presenter’s services, you’re welcome to pick up materials or request a follow-up on your own terms.

Can I attend if I’m not a senior?

Yes! We welcome anyone who finds the information valuable—whether you’re helping a loved one, planning for the future, or simply curious. All are welcome.

What if I can’t attend but still have questions?

We’re happy to help. You’re welcome to contact us with questions about downsizing, senior living options, 55+ communities, or related topics. If we can’t assist directly, we’ll connect you with a trusted local expert from our network.

Why is the event free for seniors and their guests?

Our presenters, sponsors, and partners are committed to ensuring all seniors have access to quality information, regardless of financial situation. They donate their time and contribute to event costs so that everyone can attend and benefit—free of charge.

Can I suggest a topic for a future seminar?

Absolutely! We welcome suggestions to keep the Senior Truth Talks series relevant and meaningful. While topics are planned well in advance, we do our best to incorporate feedback into upcoming sessions.
